Colonial & Bahama Shutters

The detail that finishes the elevation.

Two iconic shutter styles, an aluminum powder-coated build that holds its color on the coast, and impact-rated options for the homes that need to look good and stand up to a storm.

Two Styles

Bahama, colonial — pick the silhouette that fits the house.

Both styles are built from aluminum, powder-coated, and offered in 18 standard colors plus any RAL custom finish. The right choice usually comes down to the architecture you're working with.

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions our coastal customers ask.

What is the difference between Bahama and Colonial shutters?

Bahama shutters hinge at the top and prop open for shade and privacy, a relaxed coastal look. Colonial shutters flank the window on side hinges and close toward the center, a classic traditional look. Both are aluminum and powder-coated.

Can decorative shutters also be hurricane-rated?

Yes. Both Bahama and Colonial shutters are available with impact-rated blades, so you get curb appeal and storm protection in one.

What colors are available?

Eighteen standard powder-coat colors plus any RAL custom color, all built to hold their finish in salt air.

Will the shutters rust on the coast?

No. We build from aluminum with stainless fasteners, so they will not rust or bleed streaks down your siding.
