Which hurricane shutters hold up best on a Wrightsville Beach oceanfront home?
For direct oceanfront exposure we usually recommend motorized roll shutters. The aluminum slats and baked-on powder coat are built for salt air, and you can close the whole house from your phone before an evacuation. Soundside and Harbor Island homes often mix roll shutters on the big openings with storm panels elsewhere.
