For shade you can control, you'll want our drop curtains made from acrylic fabrics or vinyl mesh. Use of a vinyl mesh allows visibility to the outside without the glare of the sun. All of our curtains can be raised or lowered to any height to meet your needs — an excellent addition to the interior of your screened patio. Drop curtains feature a manual auger-style crank, or a motorized frame. After our team has secured the framework, it is ready for your preferred electrician.

What are exterior motorized screens?
Retractable screens mounted on the outside of a patio, porch, lanai, pergola or garage opening. They roll down from a slim housing at the push of a button, or with a hand crank, and disappear back into it when you want the open air. We measure, build and install them with our own crews.
Which screen fabric should I choose?
It depends on the job. No-see-um insect mesh is the finest weave we offer and is made for the coast's smallest biters. Shade mesh cuts sun and glare on west-facing porches. Privacy mesh blocks the view in while keeping yours out. Clear vinyl blocks wind and rain. Hurricane-rated screens add code-rated storm protection. We bring samples to your home.
Will an exterior screen protect my home in a hurricane?
Standard insect, shade and privacy screens are not storm protection and should be raised before high wind. If you want a screen that also protects the opening in a storm, choose a hurricane screen, or pair your screens with hurricane shutters on the windows and doors.
Motorized or hand crank?
Both are available. Hand-crank screens cost less and need no power. Motorized screens lower with a remote or wall switch and suit large openings or screens you use every day; they need a power connection, which your electrician completes after our team mounts the frame.
